![]() Sunday, Sept. 30th at 7:30 pm at the Silom room of the British Club Allyson has been collaborating with viola da gamba player and Baroque music expert David Wilson for over a year. Their debut and upcoming performance which will be a musical journey through a passionate, bloody and tumultuous time in British history. Highlights include favorites by Dowland, Purcell, Corkine, Byrd and Lawes, and a handful of rarer gems, including wartime ballads, a trio of cats, and a 17th century duet set in outer space (see corresponding asteroid on poster). Soloists include BMS director Eugene Eustaquio, countertenor Jak Cholvijarn, alto Dorothea Hill, and mezzo-soprano Allyson Adair Briner, accompanied by Joseph Moore on the harpsichord, Alice Orton on the flute, and David Wilson on the viola da gamba.
